Half Day Sunseeker Experience

Location:

Ocean Village Marina in the heart of Southampton.

Dates:

Most Saturdays throughout April to October inclusive.

Times:

Morning Experience starts at 9.30am and Afternoon Experience starts at 1.30pm.

Duration:

Approximately 4 hours.

Participants:

With the Skipper and Crew there will be up to 8 people on the experience.

Spectators:

Along with the Bars and Restaurants on the Marina there is also a cinema. The city centre with its large shopping mall is just a 20 minute walk away.

The Skipper and Crew will meet participants inside the Banana Wharf Restaurant/Bar in the Marina. There is a designated meeting point with complimentary tea and coffee.

•

Once settled onboard and after the safety briefing, the Skipper will cruise down through Southampton water, past the magnificent cruise ships and their docks.

•

The Skipper will explain navigation and basic plotting techniques and answer any questions.

•

On reaching the open waters of The Solent, the Skipper will open up the throttles for a “full-on” blast heading across to the Isle of Wight.

•

Providing conditions are safe, the Skipper will then pass over the controls. Under the Skippers instruction and use of the plotter you will get the chance to take the controls at varying speeds to feel the superb handling characteristics of this sleek powerboat. (Handling of the controls is optional).

On reaching the River Medina the Skipper will cruise through East and West Cowes, home of the world famous sailing regatta.

•

The fun continues, when we once again, reach The Solent for more “full-on” thrills.

•

If time allows, a go at the popular ‘man over board’ procedure (with a prop, not a guest).

•

Then one last high speed blast and a “chilling out” cruise back to the Marina.
